After you graduate from Southeastern, the next step is to find a job. And each year, Southeastern helps you do that through its career expo.
As many as 50 firms and government agencies from a cross-section of fields send representatives to Southeastern's career expo. At the event, students dress in business attire and present resumes while organizations interview students-and hire-on the spot. Business reps also run workshops on interviewing skills, post-college budgeting, and other topics.
The Walt Disney Company, GEICO, Polk County Public Schools, Liberty Mutual Group, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and Polk County (Fla.) government are among recent attendees of Southeastern's career fair. In addition to telling students about full-time positions, employers also inform Southeastern students about internships, summer jobs, and part-time employment at their organizations.
