Biography
Dr. Wade B. Mumm was raised in Bangkok, Thailand, as the son of missionaries. Mumm has 26 years of experience in the field of communication and has worked as a public relations specialist, broadcaster, television host, university professor/administrator, and as a pastor in the United States and abroad.

He is creator/co-founder and host of the television program Influence Living, which is aired internationally approximately 25 times weekly reaching a potential audience of millions. He often travels internationally when producing and hosting the show using interviews and reenactments to tell the stories of everyday people. Mumm is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and serves as lead pastor of GreeneWay Church in Orlando. Additionally, as a former U.S. Army commissioned officer, he has served in various leadership positions, reaching the rank of Captain.

Mumm arrived (the first time) at Southeastern University in 1995. He helped start the communication degree program at Southeastern University in 1998. Mumm served as a department chair and professor from 1995-2007 at SEU. He returned to the position of chair of the Department of Communication in January 2012.

His books Ready or Not: Here He Comes and A Dad's Many Hats are available at various outlets. Dr. Mumm has served as committee chair of the National Religious Broadcaster's Church Media Committee. He and his wife, Julie, have two daughters and reside near Orlando. Mumm's hobby is his family. He is adventurous and enjoys the outdoors. In 2008, he led a 10,640 mile motorcycle ride to the four corners of the lower 48 United States.
