Southeastern University (SEU) — a private, Christian university based in Lakeland, Florida — has been producing strong Christian leaders since 1935. Since 2013, we have been broadening access to an affordable Christian college education through the SEU Network — which has been successfully implemented in more than 260 locations worldwide.
The SEU Network provides university-level learning and practical knowledge while serving the local church. As the newest phase of the Network, SEU Northwest takes this model to the next level. By forming a collaboration among churches in the northwest, we are creating an exciting, unique hub of shared resources and life-changing student experiences.
From worship to production to ministry, you’ll gain practical experience in these local churches.
LifePoint Church helps people find and follow Jesus, and makes an impact in the community and around the world.
Timberlake Church has an unwavering focus on seeing people discover the joy that comes with knowing Jesus Christ.

The practicum is the hands-on, experiential learning element, unique to students attending one of our partnership church locations. Similar to traditional internship programs, the practicum allows students to work closely with church staff and leadership to develop a diverse leadership skill set. Examples of practicum experiences may include production, youth ministry, children’s ministry, and worship.
Anyone who is looking to earn a bachelor’s degree, grow in practical leadership skills, and be part of a community dedicated to helping students discover and develop their divine design.
Not at all; SEU Northwest is designed to prepare students to be leaders in their career field of choice through our multiple degree options. While practicum experiences are church-based, the work experience and skills learned can be applied to a wide array of careers.
SEU Northwest is designed to keep education as affordable as possible. While academic scholarships are not available for Network students at this time, the discounted rate of tuition at a partner site location is significantly less than the traditional campus experience.
