Housing Policies

Southeastern University has a 4 year residency requirement.  We recognize that a student should be considered for exemption under specific circumstances. Approved reasons for consideration for an exemption from the residency requirement are:

  • To be at least 23 years old prior to the semester you are requesting to live off campus.

  • To be a part-time student (less than 12 credit hours)

  • To be married or have custodial children

  • To live with your legal guardian(s) in their primary residence.

In the event of max capacity for on-campus housing, Student Development will work to provide exemptions to those deemed necessary.

More Information

Current students can find all housing policies and procedures within MySEU, the student intranet. Please contact studenthousing@seu.edu with any questions.
