2024 FAFSA Information Guide

Financial Clearance

All students are required to obtain financial clearance before they can be guaranteed their class registration (and housing, if applicable) for the upcoming semester.

Financial clearance is one of the steps in Fire Ready, the official clearance process of SEU.

How Do I Qualify?

You are considered financially clear if your anticipated costs for the upcoming semester are fully covered with the use of approved financial aid (including scholarships, grants, and loans) and/or an approved payment plan.
For financial aid to be included as approved and applied toward your expected balance, all documentation must be submitted to the Office of Student Financial Services. Not getting financial clearance before the semester begins may result in student ID card deactivation, withdrawal from your classes, and removal from campus housing.
