Dr. Bethany Thomas

Dr. Bethany Thomas is qualified for the position of Senior Vice President of Student Development & Campus Services because of her experience in student development, education, and accomplishments.  She has over 18 years of Higher Ed experience, a doctorate of education in organizational leadership, and a diversified portfolio within multiple higher education institutions.  She is skilled in creating cultural environments that empower student growth. She designs, implements, and manages a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the University’s mission, vision, goals and strategic plan with Student Development initiatives.

Thomas has served the university since 2008, and previously held the position of executive director of student experience. Before coming to SEU, she worked in the office of the provost at the University of Miami. Thomas has received her Doctor of Education degree from SEU.
