Dr. Vigil is the Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program, teaching in the areas of Pastoral Counseling, Pastoral Theology, and Biblical Studies.
He formerly served Central Bible College for 17 years as Professor, Church Ministries Divisional Chair, and Vice President for Student Development. He is a member of the Society for Pentecostal Studies, Association for Doctor of Ministry Education, American Association of Christian Counseling, and the American Counseling Association. His ministry experience with the Assemblies of God includes pastoral leadership in Florida, Colorado, Arizona, California, Missouri, New York, and Athens, Greece. He also served as Clinical Chaplain at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, Director, and Founder of the Bridge Church Planting Network of Western New York serving as the WNY Sectional Church Planting Navigator.
Dr. Vigil’s research interests include a theology of marriage, theology of counseling, and spiritual formation. He is actively engaged in marital and pre-marital counseling. He and his wife are founders of Married on Purpose Ministries, conducting marriage seminars throughout the nation. His great passions are his family, his Lord, and the Denver Broncos!
