To attend this event, you must be accepted and save your spot at SEU first!

We’re thrilled to invite all incoming Fall 2025 students to our Early Orientation events!
These events are your opportunity to gear up for an amazing start to your college experience.

What to Expect

Schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Academic Advising and Course Registration — Meet with academic advisors to discuss your academic plan and register for classes tailored to your interests and goals. Get a head start on building your schedule for the upcoming semester.

Financial Aid Planning — Have questions about financial aid or need assistance with your financial plan? Our experts will be available to guide you through the process, ensuring you have a clear understanding of your options and resources.

Campus Services Checklist — Take care of essential tasks such as obtaining your Campus Card, accessing Health Services, picking up your Mail Room key, and more. We’ll help you check off all the boxes so you can focus on what matters most — your education.

Connect with Future Classmates — Find new friendships with your fellow new students who will be joining you on this exciting journey. This is a great time to start building your network within the SEU community!

First Year Experience & Parent Sessions

About the First Year Experience Session:  This interactive session will include icebreakers, games, and opportunities to connect with others before the semester begins. Start building the friendships that will shape your college experience!

About the Parent Session: In this session, you will get to hear from SEU’s very own full-time dean and neuroscientist, who will share valuable insight into the transition you’re experiencing as a parent. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of both yourself and your student during this important season of change!

10:30 AM – 11:15 AM

Fire Ready Panel
Buena Vida West 112

In this session, we will ensure that you are all set to make SEU your home this Fall! You will get to hear from Enrollment, Financial Aid, Housing, Health Services, and Financial Aid! This panel will give you the essential steps to ensure a smooth and exciting transition to campus life.

At this time of the day, you have the option to choose which order you would like to complete the remaining sessions below.

Campus Tours – Departing every 30 minutes from the Student Activities Center.

Academic Advising Support – Get help from our advisors with your class schedule.

Campus Card – Take your SEU ID photo.

Explore Campus Resources – Connect with departments like Security, Health Services, Accommodations (ADA & ACE), and more!

Financial Aid Appointments – Located in our Financial Aid Offices. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time.

Meet with Student Financial Services (SFS) team members to discuss your account and the steps needed for financial clearance.

Advising/Registration Assistance

Need some help with your fall registration? In this session, you’ll get guidance from an advisor, have the chance to ask questions about your major, explore Divine Design options, and more! Sign ups for available time slots will take place during check-in!

Please note: This session will provide you with more clarity on the registration process; some students may still need additional time to complete their schedules.
