Student Spotlights

The following student spotlights highlight a selection of SEU’s Most Outstanding Fall 2025 Graduates and offer a closer look at the impact they’ve made during their time at SEU.

Macie Joy Jordan
Public Relations, Jannetides College of Business, Communication & Leadership
Macie combined academic excellence with hands-on professional experience through internships with Capitol Records in Nashville, Tennessee, and the International Church of Barcelona. An Honors student and Chapel Creative team lead, she exemplifies creative leadership shaped by faith and professional preparation.

Connor Nathaniel Tolbert
Communication: Sports Media, Jannetides College of Business, Communication & Leadership
Connor graduated as the first SEU student to earn a Sports Media degree, completing his academic journey after beginning in SEU’s LINK program. His dedication is reflected through leadership as a Resident Assistant, service in Student Government Association, and four years with SEU’s Athletic Communications department.

Levi Martin Williams
Commercial Music, School of Music
Levi distinguished himself through a study abroad semester at the Contemporary Music Center in Nashville and as an Honors researcher examining the impact of digital music production. His work reflects both creative excellence and academic rigor.

Cole Fred Johnson
Ministerial Leadership: Biblical Studies, Barnett College of Ministry
Cole faithfully invested in student leadership, worship, and youth ministry throughout his time at SEU. Graduating with a clear sense of calling, he will step into a Youth Director position following graduation.

Phillip Lee Gray III
Biochemistry, College of Natural & Health Sciences
Phillip demonstrated exceptional academic achievement through chemistry research, leadership in the American Chemical Society, and presentations at regional conferences. He plans to enter the U.S. Air Force as a research chemist and pursue a PhD in medical chemistry.

Kelly Laurence Buckman
Secondary Education: Social Sciences, College of Education
Kelly has accepted a social science teaching position at Victory Christian Academy. Grounded in gratitude and faith, he looks forward to serving the Lord through education wherever his calling leads.
