Upholding our ranking as a College of Distinction for over five years now, SEU earned special recognition in the Florida and Christian categories, as well as in Business, Education, Nursing, Affordability, Career Development, and Best Colleges for International Students.
Qualifying Criteria
Colleges of Distinction base their recognitions on a unique evaluating criteria known as the Four Distinctions: Engaged Students, Great Teaching, Vibrant Community, and Successful Outcomes. Through extensive research and interviews, Colleges of Distinction identifies institutions that make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
Unlike rankings that focus on prestige-driven metrics, Colleges of Distinction highlights schools that champion educational impact. That includes everything from first-year seminars and collaborative projects to undergraduate research, global learning, and internships.

Special Recognitions
Receiving distinctions for our business, education, and nursing programs, SEU demonstrated excellence in key areas such as dedicated advising and counseling, faculty excellence, practical experience, and industry connections.
We earned recognition for affordability by showing strength in areas including low net price relative to student household income; low median debt among graduates; accessibility across socioeconomic backgrounds; and measurable return on investment based on federal student outcome data.
For our award in career development, SEU was evaluated based on our delivery of integrated career exploration and preparation; accessible programs and training; and dedicated, career-centered staff through our career-centered programming.
In addition, we were honored for our commitment to providing exceptional support services for our international student community, ensuring that they thrive during their academic journeys.
