Southeastern University’s Pathways School of Excellence is proudly celebrating their 10 year anniversary! Since launching in 2016, the program continues in its mission to equip middle school and high school students for growth and success in academic, personal, and spiritual life. The Southeastern University community celebrates this milestone and honors the incredible dedication of the Pathways team and students who make this program so impactful.
Impact of Pathways School of Excellence
Pathways School of Excellence serves middle school and high school students with unique abilities through individualized learning experience. The program’s curriculum is tailored to support the individual needs of each student, focusing on the development of spiritual growth, academics, communication, employability, and independent living.
Students enrolled in this program have the opportunity to grow in confidence as they step into the world around them in a supportive and comfortable environment. Today, there are 61 students enrolled in Pathways, each being equipped with tools to thrive in their next steps. Over the past decade, 21 students have graduated from the program. Each one of our Pathways Graduates are a testament to the life-changing impact of the Pathways School of Excellence.
Celebrating a Decade of Pathways
To celebrate their 10-year anniversary, Pathways School of Excellence is hosting a series of fundraising events and community initiatives. These events include a Golf Tournament, a “Running Through the Decades” Family Fun Run, a Field Day called “Splashing Through the Decade”, and a special Christmas Program reflecting the past 10 years. This milestone will also be honored at an SEU Football game with a tailgate for families and alumni, as well as with a mural that symbolizes the program’s ongoing growth and impact.
As Pathways School of Excellence celebrates its 10-year anniversary, this milestone not only honors a decade of academic and spiritual growth, but also the students, families, and staff who have shaped its story. SEU is proud to partner with a program that continues to move forward in its mission of empowering students to step confidently into the world around them.
