Professors from the College of Arts & Media, Dr. Shudong Braamse and Dr. Charles Hulin, will have the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City on February 24. In a voice recital featuring classical works, Dr. Braamse will be providing vocals and Dr. Hulin will be accompanying her on the piano. They will be performing pieces by composers such as Mozart, Debussy, and Schubert, in addition to Chinese folk songs.
Dr. Braamse and Dr. Hulin are also set to perform a free concert at the Polk Museum of Art auditorium for their local fans on Saturday, February 5, at 2 p.m.
Dr. Braamse has taught at SEU for 18 years. She currently teaches Music Appreciation, Vocal Literature, and applied voice lessons. Dr. Hulin is an associate professor of music.
