President’s Message
As the Los Angeles area continues to face ongoing devastation caused by the wildfires surrounding the city, our hearts break for the communities affected. These fires have caused immense destruction, and the need for support is greater than ever.
Our Response
As Christians, we are called to both pray for and support those in need, especially in times of crisis like this.
In response to this call, we are raising funds for the LA Dream Center, a ministry led by our dear friend, Pastor Matthew Barnett. Over the weekend, I spoke to Matthew, who shared with me the immense work being done by the Dream Center as they continue to serve those affected by the fires. The Dream Center is currently supporting and housing over 20,000 people who have been displaced by the encroaching fires, and we want to stand alongside them during this critical time. We invite you to contribute through our giving page. Your generosity will directly support the Dream Center’s ongoing relief and recovery efforts.

Additionally, we have several extension sites in the LA area that we ask you to keep in your prayers. ZOE Church, Oasis Church, and Higher Vision Church are integral parts of our community, and we ask for God’s protection, provision, and guidance over these sites as they serve in the midst of this crisis.
I am deeply grateful for this incredible SEU community. Your compassion and dedication to serving others continue to inspire me. As we join together in prayer and support, I trust that God’s favor will continue to rest upon each of you and upon our collective efforts to make a difference.
