A Ministerial Credentialing & College Credit Program
Academics » The Academy
A call to ministry requires preparation. Southeastern University exists to encourage and equip you for the important calling God has placed on your life. Regardless of the stage in which you find yourself, Southeastern is committed to helping you fulfill and empower your call to the ministry.
Be Equipped
Today’s churches, which are becoming increasingly more sophisticated, require more broadly educated ministers. The Academy, Southeastern University’s three-stage program, is approved by the General Council of the Assemblies of God and allows you to complete the academic requirements for Assemblies of God certification, licensure and ordination from the convenience of your home or office. By completing the entire three-stage program, you may earn up to 18 credit hours of elective credits in the Barnett College of Ministry & Theology, which may be applied to a Southeastern University bachelor’s degree program in ministry. If you’d like to learn more about how The Academy can further equip you or your congregation for a far-reaching ministry career, please contact Lauren Raley at ljraley@seu.edu.
