COLLEGE OF
The College of Truth, Beauty & Culture at SEU reflects our institutional commitment to the fine arts, humanities, and classical Christian education.
Through the academic areas of Music, Classical Christian Education, Art, and Humanities, the college serves as a hub for thoughtful dialogue, academic excellence, creative expression, and spiritual formation, all rooted in the historic Christian tradition.
For centuries, Christianity has shaped the development of art, education, and the humanities. The College of Truth, Beauty & Culture builds on that legacy by helping students integrate faith, learning, and vocation. Through a distinctly Christ-centered approach, students are equipped to pursue truth, cultivate beauty, and engage in society with grace and wisdom.
The SEU School of Music equips students for careers in the 21st century by developing their musical creativity, versatility, and expertise, all to the glory of God.
Classical education teaches you how to think, not just what to know.
Through the study of great books, history, philosophy, and the liberal arts, you develop critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the wisdom to engage thoughtfully with complex ideas.
Develop your creativity and technical skills from a Christ-centered perspective.
Note: Degrees in General Studies & General Education are also available.
Christianity has a long history of celebrating art, the humanities, and education. This college is defined by Three Pillars that reflect this history.
Truth is not merely an idea or philosophy. It is a Person. As students examine the complexities of the world and the human experience, they are challenged to seek understanding through the light of Christ and the wisdom of Scripture.
Humanity is created in the image of God, which means that creativity and expression are part of our individual callings. The college celebrates artistic excellence while cultivating a biblical understanding of beauty: one that reflects God’s character, purpose, and redemptive work in the world.
Christians are called to engage in our culture through thoughtful study, meaningful dialogue, and intellectual formation. Students of this college learn to navigate contemporary culture with discernment while sharing the truth and love of the Gospel.
