Steve Saccone serves as the Vice President of the SEU Ministry Network at Southeastern University, where he leads national efforts to connect academic training with the local church to develop the next generation of ministry leaders. With over 25 years of experience in leadership development across churches, nonprofits, and higher education, Steve has designed innovative leadership pipelines as well as creative internship models and growth strategies for developing emerging leaders.
As a Gallup-certified Strengths Performance Coach and certified Myers-Briggs and DiSC consultant, Steve is passionate about helping people discover their God-given design, maximize their unique gifting, and unleash their potential both personally and professionally. He oversees more than 200 church partnerships across the country, ensuring that SEU’s resources and training effectively support local church leaders. He also teaches as an adjunct professor in the areas of pastoral ministry, holistic discipleship, high-impact preaching, and transformational leadership.
Steve is the author of several books, including Relational Intelligence, Protégé: Developing the Next Generation of Church Leaders, Talking About God, and Made for More (with Dr. Kent Ingle). As a trusted and influential voice to emerging leaders since his days as a local church pastor at Willow Creek Community Church and Mosaic Church in Los Angeles, Steve frequently speaks and consults on transformational leadership, relational intelligence, strengths-based leadership, spiritual formation, and ministry innovation. He holds a Master’s in Transformational Leadership from Bethel Theological Seminary (St. Paul, MN) and a Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern University.
