Bio

Before joining SEU’s School of Music, Brittany Fouché Strine, Soprano, was on faculty at the University of North Florida, where she taught Applied Voice, Vocal Pedagogy, and Vocal Literature. She was a 2024 NATS Intern, the recipient of UNF’s 2020-2021 Outstanding Adjunct Teaching award, and she has performed in opera, concert, and recital on stages in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

Brittany holds degrees in voice and opera from the University of British Columbia and the University of North Florida, and she will complete her doctorate in 2025 (Florida State University). As a passionate pedagogue, Brittany’s research focuses on vocal health in the studio and the application of proven speech therapy methods to singing to improve vocal technique.
