Bio

Dr. Chris Corbett leads our Undergraduate Children, Youth, and Family Ministries degree and Graduate degree in Family Ministries. Corbett also serves as the Chair for the School of Ministry and Theology.

Her passions are teaching Spiritual Formation courses at the graduate level, leading spiritual retreats for pastors and leaders, and equipping students to minister to families. She is married with two adult children and loves running, reading, riding roller coasters, and having coffee with students.

Corbett loves being in the classroom, but some of her favorite moments are sitting outside with students. She strongly believes ministry is all about relationship and strives to mentor and disciple as much as possible.

In addition to her work at Southeastern, Corbett is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, a spiritual director, and serves on the board for the International Network of Children’s Ministries. She enjoys speaking at conferences and teaching internationally. She has over 15 years experience on staff as a Children and Family Ministry Pastor and served as the Kids Ministry Director for the MN District Assemblies of God for 6 years.
