Professor Dana Parrish

Bio

Professor Dana Parrish was a teacher for 18 years and she taught in both public and private schools during her teaching career. She has taught kindergarten and 1st grade before deciding to go back to school to earn her Master's degree in Library Information and Science.

Professor Parrish loves her job as a librarian at SEU and she sees it as an extension of her role as a classroom teacher. She is still teaching students; it just looks a little different these days. Students have always been the driving force behind what she did in the classroom. That remains true today. The students are different and her "classroom" is different, but the students are still why she loves her job.
