Jeff currently serves as the Director of Membership, Grants, and Research at the Council for Christina Colleges & Universities (CCCU). Over the last two decades, Jeff has served in various Christian ministry and Christian higher education roles. Jeff earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California, where his research focused on the retention of undergraduate STEM students at Christian colleges and universities. Jeff is trained in advanced quantitative analyses, leadership, teaching and assessment, including extensive research and pedagogy within current social and cultural contexts. Jeff’s current research focuses on trends in higher education directly connected to the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU).
In the past two decades, Jeff has worked in Christian ministries and higher education in Virginia and North Carolina, serving as a pastor, a university trustee, a professor, and administrative roles in student affairs, including Dean of Students. Jeff clearly understands administrative-level issues in higher education settings and has a passion for imparting knowledge to students and equipping them for their futures.
