Dr. Scott Morgan is an Associate Professor of English in the Humanities Department at Southeastern University. Dr. Morgan has worked at Southeastern since 2018. He currently teaches College Composition, Professional Communication, Honors Thesis I, Creative Writing, and Literature for Secondary Teachers.
Dr. Morgan has been teaching for over twenty years. He began his teaching career at Christian schools in Queens, and in the first ten years of his career, Dr. Morgan primarily taught 7th grade classes. While earning his doctorate, Dr. Morgan began teaching full-time at the college level. He has won three awards for teaching in his career, including a Teacher of the Year Award for Lutheran Schools in Queens, Professor of the Year at Warner University, and the LINK Program Inclusive Excellence award at Southeastern University.
Dr. Morgan's goal is to create active classrooms in which students feel comfortable to participate, engage, and grow.
