Theodore Church

Bio

Theodore(Ted) brings nearly 20 years of experience in teaching, mentoring, and administration to the classroom. Ted began his career in education as a kindergarten teacher in a Title 1 school, which highlighted issues in traditional education. The school transitioned to a Montessori Magnet school, and led to Ted acquiring an Early Childhood Credential through the American Montessori Society. In 2013 Ted was awarded Regional Teacher of the Year by Magnet Schools of America. He then began mentoring new teachers, and training teachers in the Montessori method and found a love of leading educators. This love of training, coaching, and mentoring teachers directed his path to an assistant principal position.

Ted, his wife, and 3 adult children love water sports, such as skiing, wakeboarding, and scuba diving. Ted is very active in his church where he serves as an elder and mentor. He loves coffee whether hot or cold brew especially when paired with a good conversation.
