Please note that a Double Major leads to a single diploma when both majors are the same degree type (e.g., BS and BS), requiring total credit hours equal to the larger major plus any additional core requirements. If the majors result in different degree types (e.g., BS and BA), it is defined as a Dual Degree and results in two separate diplomas. For a Dual Degree, students must earn a minimum of 30 unique credit hours for each program, and double-counted courses cannot exceed 75% of either degree. Adding a second major or degree may lengthen the time to conferral.
