Ecuador Summer Internship

program image

Need a summer internship? Make your way to South America this summer!

Living and Learning International (L&LI) provides an excellent summer internship abroad, where students will engage the challenges of a developing nation and learn to respond with an appropriate Christian Worldview. An L&LI Coordinator will work with students to find an internship specifically tailored them; and with the city of Quito being 2.5 million people strong, there is an endless supply of site placements.

During this six-week program, students will have a thorough orientation by L&LI staff to get acclimated to Ecuador, and a weekly chapel service is provided for all students. During the middle of the summer block, the entire cohort will travel down to the Amazon Jungle to engage in a week-long mission trip where individuals will work with a Christian school. Students will live in a large apartment with the rest of the summer interns and a Resident Coordinator.

Travelers are required to book a round-trip flight for this program.

`This program is amazing! Not only do you get to live in Ecuador-- a country full of warm and interesting people, but you also get to be part of a very strong and special community within the program. One of the most impactful aspects of this program was the spiritual teaching and guidance. The staff of Living and Learning really care about each student and push them to become who they were created to be by God. Although the trips, sights, and crazy experiences were fun, the focus on God is what really mattered most to me.` — Elena Jones - Biola University
