In 2022, SEU began supporting the vision of establishing the first evangelical university in Argentina—an effort led by Pastor Osvaldo Carnival, founding pastor of Cathedral of Faith and president of the Assemblies of God in Argentina.
Through a strong partnership with Evangelical University (Universidad Evangélica), SEU provided guidance on academic development and spiritual formation, assisting in the accreditation process and curriculum planning.
Housed within Cathedral of Faith’s five-story, modern-equipped educational facility in Buenos Aires, the new university represents decades of ministry, relationship-building, and preparation.
We are thrilled to announce that we have now seen the fruits of this collaboration — Universidad Evangélica is officially open!
Rooted in biblical truth and academic excellence, this new university will equip the next generation of leaders to impact Latin America for Christ. Southeastern University is honored to have partnered in support of this bold and faith-driven vision — years in the making and now a reality.
Official Launch
Members of the SEU Leadership Team attended Evangelical University’s official launch ceremony this past Friday, and students will begin classes in two weeks. These students have been recruited over time, learning about the many opportunities that the new university will offer them, especially the opportunity to grow in their faith while pursuing higher education.
The initial launch includes bachelor’s degrees in Audiovisual Content Design & Management, Technology Management, or Theology.

The launch of Evangelical University aligns with SEU’s belief that all students should have the opportunity to discover their Divine Design through accessible, affordable, Christ-centered education.
We proudly serve international students from more than 56 countries at our main campus in Lakeland, Florida.
In addition to our fully-online degree programs, the SEU Network has established partner sites at churches and faith-based organizations. These sites are found in more than 200 locations nationwide, as well as several international locations, including:

Looking to the Future
The positive momentum for Universidad Evangélica is already evident — even before students have begun classes. Moving forward, the team hopes to work toward replicating the SEU church-based network model to provide accessible, affordable, and experiential Christ-centered education across Argentina.
