December 20, 2021 Update
The COVID-19 Recovery Task Force (CRT) continues to meet in order to maintain a healthy campus community. Based on current local health data, the university plans to operate under the Go Fire posture following Christmas break. This is the same posture the university followed at the end of the fall semester.
University offices will be closed for Christmas break beginning on Thursday, December 23, 2021, and will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2022.
Residence halls will open at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, and the first day of classes will be Wednesday, January 12.
With the anticipated rise of the Omicron variant, we ask that you continue to monitor your health and self-screen for symptoms. If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or begin to experience any symptoms of COVID-19 leading up to your return to campus, please email covid@seu.edu so that we can work with you on your timeline for returning to campus.
The CRT will monitor COVID-19 cases on campus and in the surrounding community throughout the semester and make adjustments to our protocols as needed.
