Creating Your Best Year Yet

“A New Year, A Happy & Healthier You” will feature several TED Talk-style presentations from our College of Natural & Health Sciences dean, faculty, and alumni, as well as a keynote address from Dr. Elaine Thompson, distinguished professor of professional practice and former president and CEO of Lakeland Regional Health. Dr. Thompson will be speaking on “How to Make 2024 the Joy and Time of Your Life.” To further support this theme, the other presentations will cover scientific behavioral advancements across topics including nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, and companionship and spirituality.

This event is the first installment of a new series entitled “SEU Presents.” The series was created to offer opportunities for members of the surrounding community to learn from our faculty, alumni, and students.

“I’m very excited to host this seminar,” commented Dr. Thompson. “It will encourage embracing the new year with a commitment to well-being. A happier and healthier you can be the foundation of a truly joyous year ahead.”
