SEU Missions to Premiere SENT Documentary

We are thrilled to announce that SEU Missions will premiere “SENT,” a special documentary that shares the story that God has been writing not only on our campus, but around the world. The documentary will be screened at the Polk Theatre on September 24 at 7:00 PM.

The event is free and open to the public.

The Vision

The documentary highlights the work of SEU Missions, which sent more than 500 students on nearly 50 missions trips across 40 nations this year. Some of the trips featured in the film include evangelism at the Paris Olympics and to unreached tribes in the Himalayas.

“Our students have been at the forefront of sharing the Gospel in some of the most remote and challenging places on earth,” said SEU Missions Director Ahmed Velez. “The documentary captures their journeys, showing how they’ve responded to the call to go and make disciples, just as Jesus commissioned us to do.”

More About the Film

The SEU Missions staff provided the vision for SENT and most of the footage was filmed directly by SEU students. In addition to the trips mentioned above, the documentary also highlights students on trips to Zambia, Greece, Norway, Mexico, Angola, Utah, and more.

The documentary screening is a part of SEU Missions’ Go Conference, an annual missions conference for the SEU community which includes special speakers, workshops, and a trip launch that reveals the destinations where students can serve next.
