We are thrilled to announce that SEU will be partnering with PragerU to launch a two-part course series that teaches American history through presidential biographies.

PragerU is a nonprofit organization that promotes American values through the creative use of digital media and technology. It serves millions of people across the country with free resources that uphold Judeo-Christian values and provides tools to think and live better.
An Innovative Journey Through American History
As the first of its kind, the course series will utilize an engaging learning format that combines PragerU’s signature five-minute videos with SEU’s professor-built curriculum, as well as readings from “The Honest Book of Presidents” and “A Patriot’s History of the United States.”
The course series begins with “Leaders & Legacies I: American History through the Eyes of its Presidents,” which covers presidential biographies from the Founding Era through the Gilded Age, and concludes with “Leaders & Legacies II: Presidential Biographies – Progressive Era through Present Day.”
The course series will also feature brief video presentations from distinguished historians and thinkers, including Allen Guelzo, Wilfred McClay, and Carol Swain.

At SEU, we are deeply committed to developing high-quality, faith-based education that is both affordable and accessible for all student types. It’s through this commitment that we’ve been able to experience immense growth. From 2011 to the current day, enrollment at SEU has increased from a total of about 2,400 students to over 13,600 students. This level of growth can also be attributed to our collaborative educational model and our expansive menu of access that we continue to build upon through cutting-edge program offerings and innovative partnerships, such as this new collaboration with PragerU.

Building a Future Where Truth Leads Learning
In addition to revolutionizing how education is delivered, we are also on a mission to restore higher education to its true purpose — an institution that forms character, pursues truth, and helps students discover and develop their divine design, as well as prepare them for their future careers.
President Ingle is leading this charge with the release of his latest book, “College Without Communism,” which details how universities are drifting away from this purpose and how Christians can reclaim truth in higher education.
As a Christ-centered university, we recognize our responsibility to serve as a bastion for truth and as an advocate for bringing critical thinking and freedom back to the classroom. As we continue to grow and further our impact, we will shape a future where truth and purpose stand at the heart of learning.
Course Launch & Flexible Learning
The first course of the American history series will officially launch in March of 2026 and is now open for registration. The second course will be available in the summer of 2026.
The course series will offer flexible access through two learning pathways. Students can choose to earn college credits now or take a self-paced, non-degree version that can be applied toward an SEU degree later on. In addition, high school students and homeschool students have the opportunity to earn college credit by taking the courses through our dual enrollment program, Early SEU.
