Austin Testerman, an SEU alum who graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts of Music, recently presented his research at the International Network for Music Theology (INMT) Conference 2026: Incarnation and Inculturation at St. Andrews University in St. Andrews, Scotland.
As the author of “Vinyl Evangelism: The Missiological Recordings of the Musical Betts,” Austin was featured among many notable presenters at this conference.
The annual INMT Conference supports the network’s mission to “provide an international centre unifying musicological and theological work carried out within academic universities, institutions, and other public and relevant private organisations.” This year, the conference featured keynote speaker Sir James MacMillan, an esteemed Scottish classical music composer and conductor.
We are extremely proud of our accomplished alumni, like Austin Testerman, who continue to pursue excellence and make these incredible strides in their fields!
