We are thrilled to invite the community and guests from across the region to experience ‘An Evening of Truth, Beauty, and Culture,’ a special event celebrating the arts, humanities, and the role of classical Christian education in shaping the future of Christian higher education.
The event will take place Saturday, November 14, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church on Lake Hollingsworth.
Experience the Beauty of Art, Music, and Literature
The evening will feature an interdisciplinary showcase of music, visual art, poetry, and literature presented by SEU faculty and students. Through live performances and creative presentations, guests will experience the intersection of artistic expression, timeless ideas, and a biblical worldview.
Designed as an experience rather than a traditional presentation, the evening will bring together artistic expression, intellectual engagement, and Christian faith, demonstrating how these disciplines can work together to cultivate a deeper understanding of the world and its Creator.
A Vision for the Future of Christian Higher Education
In addition, the event will offer a glimpse into an important investment in the future of Christian higher education. The evening will include a special announcement from SEU’s newest college, the College of Truth, Beauty & Culture, highlighting the university’s commitment to integrating the arts, humanities, and classical Christian education into the development of Christ-centered leaders.
Dr. Tyson Voigt, Dean of the College of Truth, Beauty & Culture, and SEU President Dr. Kent Ingle will also share their vision for the future of Christian higher education and the essential role that truth, beauty, and culture play in Christian formation.
This event is open to the public, and all are invited to attend this one-night celebration!
