Strengthen Your Path to Medical School
If you’re on the path to a graduate-level medical program, the MS in Medical Sciences (MSMS) at SEU is designed specifically for you.
This degree will give you an edge in multiple advanced-study degree programs, including medical, dental, pharmacy, optometry, or veterinary school. The program also prepares you for the advanced study required to be a physician assistant (PA), anesthesiologist assistant, physical therapist, or medical researcher.
As part of our commitment to providing customizable degree options, this program is available in two distinct learning formats.*
Opt for this accelerated, three-semester option if you already have a bachelor’s degree in the sciences and meet specific academic criteria.
Because you will not need to take bridge courses, you’ll be able to begin your degree journey in the fall or spring semester, and choose to take your classes either fully online or on-campus via the flipped classroom learning model.
*Note: All students who are not attending on-campus will still need to attend classes virtually during appointed class times.
This format offers five semesters of structured, face-to-face learning with advanced courses (and accompanying labs) in Organic Chemistry and Physics. These courses will also give you hands-on laboratory experience and the opportunity to participate in academic research. This path is ideal if you wish to enhance your science background or if you are choosing to move into the medical field from a different degree background.
The traditional format begins in-person for the first two semesters. Afterward, you can choose to continue your on-campus learning or switch to the online model.
