Barnett College of Ministry & Theology

Southeastern University has trained transformative church and ministry leaders since our founding in 1935. Equipping and supporting the church is what we do.

Your gift supports the future generation of pastors, missionaries, worship leaders, theologians, and evangelists.

Made for More

At Southeastern University, we are dedicated to providing a premier educational experience for all of our students. The Made for More initiative, launched in 2021, is a multi-year, $26.5 million campaign. It is focused on continuing to provide affordable, accessible education, through innovative deliveries in a sustainable way.

The School of Honors

With approximately 200 active students, the SEU School of Honors greatly impacts our community — both locally and globally — through student leadership, community service, mission trips, athletics participation, and by conducting thesis research studies.

Contributions allow the School of Honors to fund special courses and programming, to secure research advisors, to sponsor student travel for engaging in learning and service activities, as well as study abroad trips.

Furthermore, your gift allows the School of Honors to invite community and national leaders in the fields of academia, government, business, and the non-profit sector for lectures and small-group meetings with Honors students. Such interactions and opportunities are essential to inspiring Honors students to reach his or her greatest potential.

Carrión Hispanic Leadership Center

Southeastern University has partnered with the National Latino Evangelical Coalition (NaLEC), and renamed our Hispanic Leadership Center to the Adolfo Carrión Hispanic Leadership Center. The Adolfo Carrión Hispanic Leadership Center will encourage and create educational opportunities for Hispanic students, build relationships across the nation through partnerships with local churches, and fulfill the university’s mission of equipping students to discover and develop their divine design.

Through this partnership, SEU will be able to better serve NaLEC pastors and congregations. Affordable and accessible education will be available through a direct partnership to the Lakeland campus and through delivering this education at the local church level.
