We are excited to announce SEU’s latest national rankings as of fall 2024.
SEU has received high rankings for our degree programs, our campus environment, and what our degree programs offer in the future careers of our students. These rankings come from websites such as Niche, College Factual, BestColleges, U.S. News & World Report, and the Chronicle of Higher Education.
Degree Program Rankings
SEU offers multiple fully online undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Some of these degree programs were ranked by Best Colleges and College Factual.
Among other colleges with this same degree program, SEU is listed as the fourth Best Online Web Design Degree Program on Best Colleges. SEU has also been featured in two of College Factual’s recent rankings for “Best Online Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership” and “Best Online Organizational Doctorate Degree.” Based on affordability, institutional accessibility, and ROI, SEU was ranked as having the sixth Best Online Organizational Leadership Doctorate Program and the ninth Best Online Bachelor in Organizational Leadership on CollegeRank.
In addition to being recognized for our online bachelor’s and doctorate programs, SEU was listed as the fourth Top Placement in Best Associate Degree Colleges (out of 1,319 nationally), making SEU a top 1% school for students on College Factual. College Factual also ranked SEU for our degree programs in theology and religious vocations. SEU was ranked as having the Highest Paid Bachelor’s Degree Theology & Religious Vocations Graduates Ranking as well as the Best Theology & Religious Vocations Bachelor’s Degree Schools Ranking.
SEU 2024 Chronicle Rankings
The Chronicle of Higher Education’s August 2024 report ranked SEU highly in the quality of our doctoral education and our bachelor’s degrees in theology and religious studies earned by students.
Showcasing SEU’s dedication to quality education, with 98.6% of staff as full-time employees, SEU ranks in the top 15 of private, doctoral institutions nationwide for a number of full-time employees. SEU’s enrollment in the 10-year span of 2012–2022 increased an incredible 271.6%, placing us second in the nation for enrollment growth among private, doctoral institutions nationwide. Among schools with degrees in the category of theology and religious vocations, SEU ranked in the top 3 nationwide for most bachelor’s degrees awarded in one academic year (265).
Campus Environment Rankings
Not only were we ranked in the categories of our academics, but our environment on campus was noticed and ranked on Niche.com and U.S. News and World Report. Out of the 38 schools that were listed, SEU was ranked as having the third Best College Dorms in Florida. It was also listed as the Most Conservative College in Florida out of 5 other schools that were listed.
Based on our dedication to academic rigor, number of enrolled students, and number of degree programs, in 2025 U.S. News & World Report ranked SEU among the Best National Universities. (Smaller colleges in the same area as SEU are instead ranked in regional lists.) SEU is committed to making higher education accessible and affordable to students of a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, earning us a spot once again among Top Performer on Social Mobility.
