About

About the Program

The SEU Link program provides an opportunity for students with mild intellectual disabilities to experience college life in an inclusive setting. We assist students in increasing their independent living, employability, and self-advocacy skills. An integral component of the program is the support provided to Link students by their peer mentors.

As part of the Christian community here at SEU, our students learn to believe that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by their Creator.

History

SEU Link was founded in 2018. The program has been identified as an Approved Federal Comprehensive Transition Program (FCTP) and an Approved Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Program(FPCTP). SEU Link is supported by a grant through the Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities (FCSUA).

The Link program meets with FCSUA twice per year in conferences for professional development, strategic planning, and ongoing program improvement. For more information on FCSUA click here.
